Department Director

Sawyer Rosenstein

Sawyer Rosenstein is an avid space enthusiast and news producer at WPBF 25 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He previously hosted a weekly on-air segment called "Science with Sawyer", where he helped simplify some of the largest scientific news of the week, and he is currently host of the popular Talking Space podcast.

Through the podcast, he became the youngest member of the NASA press corps at 17, covering the final space shuttle launch as media in 2011. He has covered dozens of launches since then, including every flight during the Commercial Crew Program and most recently Inspiration 4. He was formerly a flight director with the Challenger Centers for Space Science Education for 12 years, directing simulated space missions to the moon, Mars, and to rendezvous with a comet along with teaching other STEM concepts such as Lego Robotics and 3D printing. Sawyer has also interned with the communications office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Andi Limon Headshot

Andi Limon is an accomplished marketing manager with a strong background in the aerospace & defense industry. As a deaf traveler with cochlear implants, Andi is a dedicated advocate for accessible transportation from ground to space. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Communications from Syracuse University, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a Director of Communications at AstroAccess.

AJ Link (he/him) is openly autistic. He received his JD from The George Washington University Law School and his LL.M in Space Law at the University of Mississippi School of Law, while also serving as the inaugural director of The Center for Air and Space Law Task Force on Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Aerospace. AJ is the Director of Communications for Mission: AstroAccess and works as a research director for the Jus Ad Astra project. He also serves as the president of the National Disabled Law Students Association, which he co-founded.

AJ has been actively involved with disability advocacy in the Washington, DC area and nationally within the United States. He serves on several advisory boards and steering committees that focus on disability advocacy and broader social justice movements.

Kaz Wolff Headshot

Kassandra (Kaz) Wolff is a Software Development undergraduate at University of Maryland Global Campus who enjoys creating websites and applications using various programming languages. She has a portfolio of projects that showcase her skills in Java, Python, and HTML, as well as her design abilities using a page builder. She is passionate about learning new technologies and exploring different domains of computer science including AI. *For example this bio was written using Bing's AI, which Kassandra uses as a valuable tool in her work.

Dwayne Fernades headshot

Dwayne Fernandes (he/him) is an Indian-Born Australian and a double amputee. He works as a New South Wales (NSW) Accessible Delivery manager for the state government. Dwayne also co-founded Minds at Play, a national social gaming company that builds essential social and communication skills for players through games like Dungeons and Dragons and Minecraft. He works on engaging and expanding people's understanding of disability inclusion when it comes to infrastructure, service delivery, and employment.
